You are all together again, exhausted, hurt and groggy (if you were poisoned).

Kes is still unconscious.  Your new Sakor'akai companion is named Usuku.

Chaster's old bow is nowhere to be found.  The new bow is here.

Horatio's armor and weapons are here.

Jade's knives are here, her armor is not.

You can see that you are being watched from high above by three Sakor'akai.

If Elliot's pack still has the healing potion in it, he will take a drink and pass it on to whoever else needs it (it had 8 uses left)

Wasn't that your other character that was given the large flask of healing?

That's right, that was the multi-use one.  I got a healing potion when we were in the town.  So I just use it.

Breach’s great sword and holy symbol?

Both there.

Is there a fire going at the smithy?

That's because we were scheduled for Re-Neducation.  Just sit back and let the hooks do the work...

Perfect. I use the coals to torch the neighboring buildings. The smoke will provide cover from the flyers, the fires will distract our enemies, and I get one step closer to leveling this cultist infested village to the ground.

When Usuku sees what you are about to do, he stands in your way and says something.  When it becomes clear you don't understand, he has Rillain or Sss'sss translate.

I’m sure Breach would be moved by his words.

I pause. Maybe he just doesn’t want me to burn this one particular building because it has valuables. Maybe these are shrines to Counsel deities. Maybe there are people hiding in there.

I will point to each of the other buildings and look for his approval on one of them. If he refuses all of them, I’ll just target the jail hut without his permission. My mind is made up, something here is going to burn.

I would translate, but I don't speak a language that Breach understands.  I won't stand in Breach's way if he tries to burn anything.

I will wait to make sure Rillain agrees to translate.

Is the objection to this particular building? If not can he articulate his specific objection.

How many buildings remain to be searched?  I need my holy symbol, my rapier would be nice and my potion case is probably going to be needed if any of us hope to survive this.

You have quickly looked in them all at this point.

Usuku does not want any of them burned.  Their destruction will not help rid the Sakor'akai of the cult.  They all predate the cult.

Elliot grabs 2 daggers from the smithy and, if there is one, the shaft of an unfinished spear, to use as a staff/walking stick

Are there any short swords, scimitar's, rapiers, or daggers for Sss'Sss to grab?

I pass this information to Breech but don’t advocate either way.

Daggers
I grab two daggers before Breach smokes us out.

It’s a tactical decision - it will give the cultists something else to deal with besides us. Breach is not easily dissuaded by the stranger he met 30 seconds ago. But I’m not a monster. I’ll just target the jail hut and leave the other buildings alone (for now).

He does not move to stop you from burning the hut.

Chasker grabs his armor, and stuff and starts strapping it on.  Watching the Sa'koraki as he does.

Where do we make our stand? Is there somewhere we can take our opponent’s flight advantage away from them?

I gather my knives and wait to for us to decide where to go.  I still think the trees might be our best best. Unless our new friends knows of a better place.

I ask Usuku: “Are any parts of the forest free of traps and alarms? Is there another section of the enclave where the residents might be sympathetic to our cause?”

"There aren't many traps or alarms.  We get few unwanted guests."

"There are individuals, but no safe sections.  If we want to hide, I would suggest the caves on the northeastern side.  They are narrow and wings are useless."

Were the symbols and color on the Mayor who sent us to the island similar to the colors that we saw on the cultist on the island.  Do we think there mayor is involved.  I know this thought crossed my mind when we played last but then did have time to say anything about it.

Yes, this was noted during the last session.  The colors were indeed the same.  No confirmation if the Horarian government is involved, but I have faith in our group's ability to wildly jump to conclusions and assume the mayor now needs to be added to Breach's hit list.

Colors yes, symbol no, and to be clear it was on the emblem on his attire, not all of his clothes.
