When the time comes, postings about how we will get together.

Looking at possibilities for the gathering, considering dates between the 4th of July and August 13th.
Let me know if there are any dates you cannot do. I know we went through this before, but I am assuming many scheduled have changed.
July 11th, 18th, and 28th are out for me.
Again, these dates are separate from the issue of an acceptable gathering space.

After a review of Hero's deck, we can add that to one of the optional places to have the gathering. His deck is a bit more secluded than mine.
Another option we can consider is having it on my first floor when wife is working and kids are at my mom's. This would be during a week-end afternoon.
Post thoughts.

My place is still an option as long as you guys are willing to gather here. There's plenty of room to spread out in the basement or sunroom. I'm not too keen on the outdoor idea only because the heat and bugs will be overwhelming in the summer.

I agree on the heat and hadn’t considered the bugs. As of now I have no plans at all for any weekend. Any place where we can play without interruption is good by me.

Assuming everyone agrees to indoor, your basement has a good space for the size gathering. Mine has the stairs in the center which cut things off.

I think it is a bad idea to play inside. I am not completely ruling it out for myself but it is way down on the list. Sustained contact with someone for long periods of time especially indoors is one of the ways COVID spreads the most. That being said I hate the heat but I think we are overestimating the effects of the heat outside if DM takes the measures he had mentioned to me which were underneath a tent with fans blowing. Plenty of people have get-togethers in the summer outside and I always felt comfortable if I stayed underneath a pavilion.

For a date, lets look at Sunday the 12th. In the pre-lockdown days it was a date that no one had raised an issue.
Just looking at the availability of everyone, not logistics with this question.

Sounds like everyone can make it on 7/12. With the wife working that day, might I suggest we play at my place. We can assemble in the sun room. There's plenty of room to spread out, there's a ceiling fan, and the room is made almost entirely of windows, so we can have them open to keep the fresh air flowing.
I can make it a point to buy single serve and individually wrapped snacks so we don't have to share or cross-contaminate. Thoughts?

Sounds like a plan. If some people are a bit crowded in the sun room, with the windows open, we can have some sit right out side on the patio. I also purchased a 10 x 20 party tent for summer activities that I can bring if it very sunny or raining.

Sounds good. My deck is 16x20, so the tent should fit nicely.

I didn't realize it was that big. Having house/garage on two sides must have given me a wrong impression.

That depends on what you plan to achieve that day. If everyone agrees to play at my place, you're all welcome to come over earlier if need be. I'd say as early as noon if interested.
