The battle at the lighthouse takes place on the 25th of the 9th month of 789.

I feel the fight in the city really opens up some great opportunities here so once the dust settles and we talk to the authorities, I plan to have a big service at the place of worship and a grand reopening of the lighthouse. At the service I want to assemble willing bards on are ship hopefully led by Chase. To tell the story of the battle and the dangers of a hermit life without any social interaction with others. I will speak and emphasize some of the finer points of the faith such as it is important to mediate but you cannot forgo social interactions. Before the services I would like to speak with the clerics of Lakius in the city and then appoint some to keep up with the light house and others to run the other place of worship help from the two Seatenders from our ship. These appointments will be announced following the show by the bards and just after I discuss the finer points of the religion. Nathan will spend some of his own money on this this to make it a grand celebration.

Amare asks, "How much time should I prepare to spend at port? That sounds like it will take more than the tow more days we were planning."

The Seatender acolytes mostly think this is a good idea and are excited to help.
Sir Charles agrees with the staging and offers to help.

Chase gladly accepts this task and prepares an overwhelmingly lavish play, complete with optical and audio effects (Prestidigitation, Amplify, Resounding Voice). Also provided will be Weathersinger effects to keep the audience on edge and add an air of grandeur, like dry ice and wind (Fog Cloud, Obscuring Mist, Gust of Wind). I recruit any and all Bards willing to participate.
-
The high number of bards are your crew is about to pay off.
-
Where do you go in the immediate aftermath? Wait at the lighthouse? Go into the city? Back to the ship?
-
Sorry I forgot about Rin and Treetop. The celebration will also promote the faith of Treetop however Rin sees fit. It will also promote the friendship (for lack of a better word) between the 2 gods and their clerics.
-
I am willing to wait by the lighthouse. I don't want it to appear that we ran away from the situation. I do fly out to Amare to see what he advises.

Amare says, "I would wait for city officials to arrive. Stay prepared, and let Sas talk."

We'll stay in this thread since you are still in Northut.
Experience:
Nathan, Chase, Rin each get 1500 for their successful completion of the ceremonies in Northut.
-
That was the first ever Windblade, Zunder, Malchia session.
-
It is now the 4th day of the 10th month of 789.

Is this the furthest point we've ever reached in the timeline with the exception of the wizards 3 campaign? Are all characters up to this point now or are we still staggered in time?

Furthest point.

xp for a recap for Hero.
We waited around for the authorities to show up. While waiting, we noticed a ship hastily leaving port. Detect Ship revealed it to be a pirate spy vessel with a Horarian port of call. We sent Ritvali out to infiltrate the ship, but once aboard, he was revealed by magic lamps and other devices, so he left. We left that as a loose end since we were focused on clearing our names in Northut and reestablishing the faith of Lakius.
While we were waiting, a crowd was gathering and we were eventually approached by a group of about 20 officials from the city. They ranged from soldiers to diplomats, constables, inquisitors, Amatine Gnome enforcers, and a cleric of Lakius. They questioned us all individually and put us through the ringer with magic detections and other truth telling methods. We all checked out clean and were allowed to go about our business in the city.
We let them in on what we had planned and they agreed that our idea would be good for the city and for the respective faiths of the four creator deities.
They sent us the aid of the premiere Comedic Bard in the city and we worked to put together the telling of our tale in dramatic form. All Bards and officers played their part and the festivities went uninterrupted, including the symbolic rebuilding of the lighthouse with the lyre. We drew enormous crowds of 50,000 - 100,000 (half the city's population). It was pretty epic. I joked that it was like Live Aid for Lakius. No doubt our good deeds will continue to spread as we continue on to our next destination.
-
I would like to take credit for the crowd but they were there to pay their respects to silas. Also, we had to deal with the evangelist of the new winged elf religion which might be more easier to explain in person.

Right, I forgot about him. I was running on fumes last night and his encounter simply escaped me.
So, to Windblade's point, we met a winged elf Evangelist of a goodly deity trying to siphon power from the four creation gods. No harm came to him or any of us, but we were told he was a troublemaker. Rin met with him and had a philosophical discussion about how lazy the creation deities have become and that his faith would fix the issues. Rin took the comments well and decided to take his statements as a challenge for the faithful of the creation deities to step up their game. This is now part of the preaching Rin and Nathan are spreading to the faithful of Lakius and Treetop.
-
At the end of the celebration the winged elf came to evangelize and flew to different locations throughout the city and Nathan followed him around with the crown of Air along while carry an evangelist of Habastly with him and they out preached him at the locations.

If anyone has questions about visiting the town during the week, or about the Coral Razor, or about your next stop in Habastalai; post them.

What’s the Coral Razor?

During our time spent in Northut, Ssaskra will search for the sahuagin city using a combination of greater requests and his spirit projection ability. Just to collect intel.

To help with that end, I'll talk to local animals, and see if they know

What’s the Coral Razor?
That's the pirate spy vessel that left in a rush after we defeated the tentacles.
-

They avoid it, has the sahaughin will eat anything living.

If you are just trying to locate it, that's not hard for you.

Once I locate it, I use a question request to find out population. I then personally scout it out to conduct general reconnaissance - a rough census of the population (are there lots of warriors, children, etc), layout of the city, any temples/shrines, any beasts of burden/war (e.g., an armada of sharks with frickin laser beams attached to their heads). No detailed snooping, just want to make note of anything obvious.
-
Any info I collect gets discussed with Nathan, Rin, Chase, and Amare. We can decide if we want to act on it, share it with city officials for planning defenses, or just ignore it.

When you approach, you immediately sense that there are many spirits around this place. It is rare for you to sense so many.
The city, located about ten miles out to sea, is sprawling and not well organized in construction. You believe it has around 50,000. You see some large sharks, but nothing like a war host.
