The Guardian sets sail on the 19th day of the 9th month of 789.
-
The course you set initially takes you to the following cities. Also listed is the name of the temple and the cleric of Lakius if known.
Northut - Highpoint - Salis the Watcher (old and rarely seen lighthouse guard)
Habastalai - House of Wells
Aquehar - Submersint Salutem
Newporton - Lord of the Delta - Admiral Samuel Mist (not the temple cleric but lives in the city and the most notable cleric of Lakius in Yellowia)
Undrile - The Temple of Lakius (note it has not other name)
After that, you would have to decide if you wanted to sail west to the Odd Lands or east to Ekarude.
-
Also I contact the high cleric and see if can determine if any of the temples are in danger.

Do either the Odd Lands or Ekarude provide any strategic or military advantage based on location?

To who?

The high cleric (anyone have his name written down) will look into it for you.
-
To who?
To Dagon and his forces.

To Dagon and his forces.
Ekarude is out of the way and considerable weaker compared to the Odd Lands.

Then I suggest we go to the Odd Lands next.
-
I would imagine we will make that decision after we gone to a view temples first and gather some more information.

Amare agrees

Assuming three days at each port; Nathan estimates you will be ready to leave Undrile about a month after you leave Port Talp.

Ssaskra can do some advanced scouting via spirit travel if it would be helpful. Range of about 120 miles, which includes some safety factor for finding and investigating the location, and some time to locate the ship again.

Amare says, "Nathan, can you skrye the temples before we arrive?"
-
Yes I can
-
Between your crew members that have been to Northut, and your general knowledge of the town; Amare gives a report to the officers before you arrive.
"Northut is an important coastal town for all trade in the northwestern main. The next closest cities that can handle ships of a large size are Port Talp to the south and west and Habastalai to the east. Habastalai is not far, but its devout divine nature steers many ships away."
-
"The city is mostly human, but it has a significant gnomish population from its days as a friend of the Tinkokracy. There are also a fair number of Vass. While there aren't a lot of dwarves, the religion of Smofarf has a large following."
-
"One important thing to note is that there aren't many piers, almost all of the ships lay anchor and row to the city."
-
"They rarely have to deal with pirates, since they are just out of the way of all of the major pirate groups. What they do have problems with more than any other place is Sahaugin."
-
Braden, your Kormiere Purser, knows the wealthiest merchant families and can direct you if needed.
-
Charles, your newest midshipman adventurer, says of Northut, "It is not a city a look kindly upon. I have been there only twice in my life and have enjoyed neither visit."
