To start the summary so we recall where we are: it has been 23 rounds since Claude noted something was near and you started any preparations.

It is close to midnight and this is not a day where Sas had gone into spirit travel.

It has been 3 rounds since the lightning ball appeared.

Jean the Ship Mage has cast two spells that you have seen: Dispel Magic (3rd) and a Sound Lance (3rd).

In addition to the PCs (less Veronica and Taiji), the other crew on the main deck are:

Amare (aft castle)
Fitolin

Tsari'Moti (fore castle)
Midiyro

Parker (crow's nest)

Jean (main deck)
Thermon
Ritvali

Parker has been firing arrows from his spot for the three rounds you have been active.  From his spot he has been able to seen Dark Sea every round.  Wake, Rin, and Falcon note that one of his arrows has hit.

Amare has been commanding the crew on deck and watching out for the Helmsman Fitolin, who has been steering.  As soon as Dark Sea leaves sight, he yells, "Prelate, I need a course!"

Tsari'moti and Midiyro are Gabriel's ballista crew at the moment, helping him load, aim, and spot.

Thermon has his harpoon in one hand and a lasso in the other.  He is also tied to the main mast via a rope.

Ritvali is skulking about.

So, is Dark Seas visible at the moment or is he still hidden from our view?  I know he used Dimension Door to escape, but Claude can sense him, so he can't be too far away.  I don't remember if we discussed that before we stopped for the night.

For the record, Chase and Kasai don't jump overboard unless they have to.  We're not risking losing the protection of the flags.

He is not immediately in sight via free action spots.

As for those flags; Claude, Nathan, and Sas are outside of their influence currently.

Draconic fear is not an issue for Ssaskra.

I don't suppose 60 feet of darkvision helps by any chance?

For planning purposes and so we don't lose it, here is the initiative order.  Dark Sea goes first in the round and he has already gone in the 4th round.

Nathan 25
Claude 21
Valdis 18
Jean 13
Gabriel 12
Chase 12
Falcon 10
Sas 10
Kasai 7
Wake 7
Rin 6 (with two sharks)

Tsari'Moti and Midiyro are going on Gabriel's since they are helping him at the ballista.

Taiji is currently below deck but will not likely stay there. His initiative roll was “0”.

Taiji activated the lyre of building’s protection ability shortly after Claude’s detection. Lasts a total of 30 min.

I need 14 saving throws (for the crew that got gassed below deck).

Looks like we're going to need more crew.  The upside is that for those that remain, their share of the treasure will be bigger...

1d20+0
15+0 = 15

1d20+0
20+0 = 20

1d20+0
2+0 = 2

1d20+0
20+0 = 20

1d20+0
12+0 = 12

1d20+0
4+0 = 4

1d20+0
1+0 = 1

1d20+0
5+0 = 5

1d20+0
15+0 = 15

1d20+0
4+0 = 4

1d20+0
17+0 = 17

1d20+0
2+0 = 2

1d20+0
10+0 = 10

1d20+0
4+0 = 4

A quick call from below deck tells you that none of the crew appear dead from the gas.

So if we all die then we get infinite loot?
