Recap
The group stayed out and about while keeping the scroll case hidden; never gathering together for long periods of time in order to shake any tails.  Over the course of 4 days, the twins were followed so they stayed away from the group.  In that time, Remy was messaged by a mystery person who identified himself as a potential buyer for the scroll.  The group agreed to have him meet this person, so they agreed upon a canton in an impoverished part of Port Talp.  It turns out it was a child who approached him in the child's canton where there are many orphanages.  Remy was lowballed, so he left.  Istivan followed him on the rooftops, but nobody followed.

We eventually got in touch with Gneon who said he was being followed.  Round about the fourth day, he said he would meet us.  We set up the meeting in a tavern at the edge of town where we've been before.  We met Gneon there and he came with a mage and a tinkering expert.  Remy went out ahead of the group with a decoy bag while the rest of us had the real scroll.  Gneon's mage put up all manner of protections then we made our exchange.  We negotiated a holding fee of 5k and our original price of 40k.

Once we determined it was safe to open the case, we found out it was an elaborate scroll of a near perfect tchotchke of perpetual motion.  Gneon agreed to keep his end of the bargain, but the mystery remained where the real scroll was.

Meanwhile, Remy was accosted by people in his hiding place.  Turns out it was the leader of L'ar Noire himself and his top enforcers.  They generously offered to spare his and all of our lives if he agreed to contact Gneon and make a deal.  They revealed that they were in possession of the scroll and that they'd need 200k to be satisfied.  Remy contacted us and filled us in, all the while tacking on an extra 5k for his efforts.  The Drow met us in the tavern room we booked while in disguise.  Gneon's mage cast a gaes on Remy to make sure he was telling the truth.  He was.

Once the scroll case was opened, it was discovered to be a mining machine capable of extracting alumignome from the minerals in the earth.  This was the real deal, so Gneon paid them and they left.  We thanked our lucky stars, collected our 50k, then made a break for our usual hiding places after we complete a job.  That's where we left off.

After the meeting, I assume you all separate and will meet up again after a couple days at Esme's.

After an analysis of xp given this season, I find that it is lower than I would want.  Going week to week, it seems right what I give looking at the forest and not the trees near the end, I see that the forest is not as big as I would like.  So, each character gets:

2700 divided by current level times number of sessions played.

So if you are 6th and played all 6 sessions, that would be 2700.  If you are 7th and played five sessions, that would be (2700/7)*5 = 1929.

That may be added now.  Message me if you got a level.

This is the primary question I need answered.

Natsu will post what each member made for this job.
45,000 gc base fee + 5,000 gc Remy added via extortion = 50,000 gc total.

Split 12 ways:

Everyone gets 4,166 gc. Remainder of 8 gc goes to the House.

For future reference, when we negotiate contracts we need to make sure we include a condition for direct expenses to be reimbursed at cost. We spent 2,000 gc of guild funds to acquire the design scroll that reduced everyone's take.

This is our standard procedure. No reason to do something different.

I thought that 5k was just Remy's since he extorted it.  Hopefully he is sharing though.

Guild rules. Any financial gain acquired as part of a contract is split evenly amongst the members, regardless of contribution.

It was for us so we didn't get completely shafted on the second deal.  I wanted it to be something but not so much that it could have jeopardized the deal and been bad news for all of us.

Seeing no objections, 3 days after the transfer to Gneon you all meet at Esme's.  The twins have finally lost their tale, so they attend as well.

What happened to Gneon?  Where'd he go after the encounter with the Drow?

After he got the scroll case, he paid you and bid his farewells.  He left the city and other than Gnickle's continued presence, you have not seen or heard anything of him.

Gnickel addresses the group: "Now that my contract with Gneon is complete, I am seeking new work. I will be staying in Port Talp for some time and will be available to assist with any other projects your organization may have."

Esme suggests to everyone else that there be a discussion as to whether Gnickle makes a good addition.

The meeting as Esme's will be a vote on keeping Gnickle, discussion of what (if anything) to do with the coin you earned; and then she suggests as in the past, to take some down time to let thins settle.  A month to six weeks.

So where do thieves keep the gold they steal.  Do the twins or Ayva have any idea on what other guilds do with their money.

Members are in charge of keeping their own.  The guilds have safe houses.
