No more visits to the temple of Falan!
Or at least not until we level up a bit.  In any case, DM requested we list everyday activity when we're not on duty so here goes:  volunteer work at the forge, practicing my swordplay, and studying my language books.  All activities listed are in no particular order.

Is there any investigative work you do on your own or as a group?

"We should wander that district daily, taking everything in and not do it covertly."

After the meeting with the governor you return to your usual schedule for the next 8 days.
On the day after the meeting Uleric is assigned to desk duty at HQ.

Unless you state otherwise you fall into a routine of patrolling the west side of the city. During the day the city shows some signs of normal life. Crafters, mostly older elves and their very young apprentices, go to their shops at least once or twice a week.  Crowds go to their respective temples for food and the distributions are mostly orderly. On occasion a few followers of Arsur anyodel or Tfop try to get extra rations from one of the other temples but not on a large scale. In contrast almost every day followers of Lavash'Ki try to defraud one of the other temples or con followers out of their rations.

On the 7th day during the offloading at the docks there is a major incident. A mob of figures in masks surround and overrun the marines, stealing nearly a third of the shipment. The governor and his fearsome animal companion are called and track the perpetrators for over an hour as the trail branches dozens of times before disappearing into the dock ward.  Several of the raiders were unmasked in the melee and revealed to be Horarians.

The following day Chartok issues new formal orders. Two thirds of the patrols are assigned to the dock wards with the remaining groups to patrol the seemingly more passive Elven upper tiers. You are assigned to the later group.

Any reason given why we are assigned to the Elven tiers?

What race were the thieves?

Did we have any luck in those days locating looters?

No reason for your assignment is given.

You hear reports of looting but you never encounter any looters.

Is it Scaled Elves we'll be patrolling or all types of Elves?

Any more activity reported at the Temple of Falan?

What is protocol if we encounter a demon?

What is protocol if we encounter a demon?
Sgt. Windbourne says: "It depends on a number of things. Is it aware of our presence? Can we safely withdraw and summon aid? Is it harming others? What is nearby such as a temple?"

"Understood.  Use our personal discretion."

Turning to the others, "I think this is a good time for us all to discuss what we can do against such a creature.  Sadly, my answer to that question is, nothing except defend my self and get others to safety."

"More: Follow my orders, or at least my lead."

The Governor brought Master Ullik from the Guardian Temple, an organization specifically dedicated to combat creatures of the lower planes. Seeking his help would be our best option.

Should we be forced in action against Nilas'Anor or a demon, I have a way to summon aid to us.

Your patrols of the upper city are quieter than those near the docks. There are fewer people on the streets, all elves, but they appear better fed. Some look resentful of your presence.

After a few days you begin to notice a clear trend. Upon your arrival religious symbols were rarely worn openly. Now you see nearly every elf wearing a symbol prominently. Tfop and Gruweas are the most common in the area you have been patrolling.  Tfop's followers are clearly happy to see you and greet you. The followers of Gruweas avoid you and occasionally snarl at Quorl.

Have we heard anything about religious persecution (other than the obvious clerical killings), but among the faithful non-clerics?

Please tell me none of these Elves are covered in purple slime...

The friendlier elves.

The friendlier elves.
The clerics of Tfop say not since your arrival. Before that things were in such chaos near the end that no one is sure but there were followers of Stasis and Hemator found dead.
