The date of the meeting after the hit on the Street Fisher safe house (three days later) is the 23rd of Napay.  That is two months and 8 days after you all gathered for the first time.

Biggest issue to resolve is getting Tragorum back.

When he is able to see, Tragorum will survey his surroundings, then examine his loot

The next next is cloudy and drizzling.  You can't see that far with the rain.  It is chilly and breezy out here, it is now late October.  You see nothing but water and some other rocks jutted out of the water around you.

Tragorum will see if any of the other rock protrusions offer better protection from the rain/shelter
He'll use his short spear and Astral constructs to try to fish for food.  And use Energy Ray to cook anything he catches and heat his rock as necessary.

I get Esme to activate the farspeaking amulet, and tell Tragorum to stay put, help is coming.

I am going since I expect I am the only one able to locate the psion. Any other volunteers?

Natsu memorizes 3 circle dances, eyes of the avoral, and 4 alter selfs, then goes to the docks before sunrise along with anyone else who wants to come. I hire out a small (minimal crew) fishing boat for the day to take me 6 hours out. Direction to be determined by the circle dance spells. I use the first one once we are out of the harbor.

I offer 50 gc from the guild funds and adjust up as necessary based on the reaction I receive.

I bring the farspeaking amulet so we can communicate with Tragorum and try to zoom in on his location.

No other rocks are anything more than this one, about 10 sq feet barely above the waves.  If the waves pick up much, you will be in for it.

You get Vincent, Esme is still not back.

50gc is enough to get the fishing boat of Horarians up and running in no time.

I sit on my rock, waiting for someone to activate the amulet to let them know where I am/ what happened and quietly reflect on my life choices.

Max was watching, but there wasn't much he could do.

He was, however, almost the one nominated to swim out.

Probably better if I go alone, in an effort to minimize someone being able to associate us with each other.

DM, let me know if I need to detail my recovery plan any further than I already did.

Your plan is sufficient.  You recover him about three miles out to sea.

Could someone let me know what is happening?
The group was questioning Rik, marking traps, and searching for treasure at the house when Schurke and Forza, who were watching outside, spotted a shadowy figure heading toward the house.  They attempted to stop him, but met resistance.  Schurke managed to get to the house to warn the others and Forza fell victim to some paralyzing effect thanks to a failed save.

The shadowy figure arrived, as did several others, in an attempt to retrieve Rik.  Istvan got into a fire fight with two of them outside and the rest entered the front door.  One of the twins questioned Rik and the other remained invisible.  Vincent got the combinations to the locks/traps from Rik and proceeded to loot the bedroom where we scored some gems and mithral powder.  Natsu, Remy, and Traguna got shackled and beaten with batons by the shadowy assault team.  Istvan's monkey got brutally killed, Schurke escaped, and Rik was eventually put into a fireman's carry by one of the shadowy figures and taken out of the basement.  Tragorum managed to magically stun him and knock him down the flight of steps.  The shackled group eventually escaped and we all met back at the guild house.  Esme scolded us for lingering too long and then we set our minds on checking out the sunken treasure at the docks.

After some planning, Tragorum went out to sea and encountered a Lizardman pirate (name escapes me) swimming around an enormous stone dome protecting the sunken ship.  He made a deal with Tragorum for 20% of the loot if he could get him through the wall.  Tragorum returned to get buffed with spells, potions, and some nifty chemicals from Ganshuk to eat the stone away.  The heist was a success and the pirate swam at frighteningly fast speeds six hours away to an isolated island where he gave Tragorum his loot and swam away.  He's now stranded on a rock in the middle of the ocean.  Judging from the previous post, it appears Natsu has a recovery plan in place.  That's where we stand at the moment.

So the pirate took him out there and just dumped him?  We need to get him out of there ASAP. If I know pirates, and I know all about pirates, he's leaving him out there as a patsy.

What kind of loot did we get from the wreck? Are we looking for Rik?

Once Tragorum gets back from his seafaring adventure, he'll go through the items, appraise them (with Traguna's help), see if any of them are magical (again with Traguna's help), then take any magic items to Natsu to get identified.

Natsu can help with all that on the boat ride back.

That is a good question to discuss.

In addition, what if anything to do about evil Remy.

Only let's me see. I cast it for Tragorum's moonlit scuba excursion, but that has long since expired when I go to retrieve him the next morning.

There are no magical items, only mundane valuables. We know that from the augury I cast. We should take inventory of what was collected and deposit it immediately in the scry-proof chest, either the one at the safehouse or the one at the shrine. Let it sit for a few days in case the owners or the city attempt to use divinations to locate the recovered objects. Waiting until tomorrow is unwise.

"You assume that we do not also have a scry-proof chest?  My brother and I will appraise the items and report back to everyone the contents of the haul during our next communication."

During the next communication the twins report that the Shipwreck loot includes nothing magical, the waterproof bag has a value of 10gc, while the contents include 980gc in small Destroytian Republic minted gold bars.  They suggest we melt the bars down so they can not be traced.

Frankly, I am concerned about collusion. It is nothing personal, given the opportunity to deceive for personal gain most people would. If you wish your brother to appraise the items instead of me, that is fine, but I will be there as a casual observer to remove the temptation.

Esme and Ayva are returning soon and there will be a meeting to discuss what you will all do next.

Open questions remain:

- Find Rik?
- Evil Remy?
- Make coin off the resort?
- new monkey?
- Security Solutions plan?

I vote for cleaning up our mess, by which I mean Rik and Remy. Uncle Robb always said "everyone wants to go to the ball, but no one wants to stay and clean the hall."

Aren't we doing this whole thing to make money? There's no profit in revenge.

...although those security thugs did have at least one interesting magic item and I'm sure they were equipped with more that we didn't see...I'm sold. So what's the plan of attack? Something involving a skeletal monkey, I hope.

If the point of that skeletal monkey was to make their lives a living hell, then yes!  I plan on making the security for feel really - really uncomfortable.  Taking their casters and psions first.

As for Remy... There might be no profit in revenge, but there is also no betrayal later

Gansuhk adds in " Cleaning time, it might be"

Cleaning up loose ends is part of the job.  Too many loose ends will sink the ship someday if we keep being careless.  We need to have guide lines and policies for this kind of thing so it is not a question of what we do when these keeps happening.

If you don't have the stomach for what needs to be done to make the guild successful then look away.
