Icefian Campaign > Reluctant Heroes

. . . and then it’s done. (?)

Asinjin:
To be clear on where everything ended:

- temple in ruins
- Iskin flew away having swallowed the folly
- Marius is dust
- the undead horse remains
- Navi and Wake the raven familiar are dead, anyone else including NPCs?
- no sign of Uscis

Did the wave of force effect structures?  If so, did it level this section of the city?

My intention is to use this thread for wrap up of these events and then when appropriate to start a more general continuation thread for the transition years. I’ll try to give everyone a chance to reply to posts so we avoid any issues of getting too far ahead and then someone posting what they wanted to do five posts earlier.

After Iscen’s frees himself of the rubble and takes flight he is only visible for a few seconds (one round) before he clears the dimensional barrier and teleports away. Fortunately the area immediately around the temple is abandoned. Unfortunately a 500’+ dragon is visible for miles and for a brief moment you can hear panicked screams from the southern part of the city.

After he disappears the cloud of shadows dissipates. The more powerful undead on the other side of the wall likewise depart. Seeing the rest of the horde clamoring for battle, Ajax, Arion and Alara take up a position before the doors. After a few moments contemplating the ruins Escalon joins them.

Before the wall of force ends there is the sound of further collapse from the ruins and suddenly the ground in a circle around the original footprint of the temple gives way as the catacombs, sewers and other underground chambers collapse under the weight of the rubble.

Seeing a path around the wall many of the undead begin to circle around. This goes poorly for them as the first wave is annihilated by Ajax’s turning and those that survive find themselves in the overlapping auras of Ajax, the Gemblade and Escalon. Moments later the wall disappears and the remaining paladins rush to aid the others.

Asinjin:
Benlin had a Fortunate Fate spell cast on him, and because he Share Spells with his familiar, can he trigger it to go off to save the familiar from death?

Was the familiar killed by the force blast or the temple collapse? If it’s the former yes but it has to then make the reflex save for the temple collapse.

Benlin wasn't in the temple.
