DM, can you let us know how much Ayva was able to sell the Red Point heist magic items for? Full market value for a +3 necklace of protection and 3 charges of dust of appearance is around 14,400 gc. Figure we sell this stuff off over the past 3 weeks, assuming we let it sit for a week in the bag of holding.

And we can start selling the stone too, I think. In small lots.

You indicated that you wanted full value, so its just a matter of time to sell them.  Roll 2d10 for number of weeks for each item to sell.

Istvan...

" I believe we have to make it pretty public that Rik is done.  We need to suggest to the Red Point Crew that the Streetfishers are done.  Also, what did he have in the house?  Did you "treasure sniff" it out"

Does the powder you hit the thug with kill him?

Where do you take the two men to interrogate them?

So far you have only searched the basement.  Does anyone search the rest of the house and how?

The monkeys disappear.

Gansuhk stands over the unconscious man.  "Throatsprout mist!!! Excellent!!" He grins ear to ear as the man is turning blue.  The tiny vines and plants growing over the mans face, roots have crossed has face seeking out tears from his eyes for moisture to continue their assault.  His jaw being forced open wider.  The growth slowing as their foots source is ending

"If left unchecked, die he will." he clears the mans throat, ripping out an unnerving amount of roots and foliage from the mans throat.  Ganshuk then kicks the mans ribs.. he coughs and starts breathing again.

Istvan returns most of the items to Gansuhk, keeping the anti-toxin Vile.  Quaffing it, and heading inside to do a room by room search.  (+5 to fort poison saves for 1 hour)

I will do a detect magic and treasure scent sweep of the house. I touch nothing, letting the unseen servant handle everything.

I am reduced, flying, and invisible for the next 5 min or so.

I say we tie Ric up and dump him at the nearest constables station. If they turn him loose we can track him down and get word to the RPC where to find him.

I park it in the closest alley.  This won't take long.

I don't necessarily want the RPC to have access to Ric.  If they get that information they might figure out that it wasn't SF hit them.  I think we put him on a ship out of here.  Letting him know that if he comes back, we won't be so nice next time.

Oh yeah.. I can see you with my goggles.  I tell Ganshuk where you are, and gently slaps you until you wake..

The twins suggest taking both men and securing them in the basement. They will take the bundles from rick and start going through them.

You have both men secured in the basement.

Who is going to search the house?  Are you going to question Rik here?  You have four minutes left of the communication for the day which is currently active.

Once Natsu is finished looting the basement, I'll help search the rest of the house too.

Traguna, still disguised as the Red Prince will question Rik and the other guy here.  We will separate them before we start the questioning (or make sure one is unconscious while we question the other).  Traguna will ask if Gansuk has anything that will make Rik more coopertive.

Questions to ask Rik (Anyone else can feel free to add to this list)

Questions to ask Rik (Anyone else can feel free to add to this list)
  • Where are the rest of your group?
  • Where are all of your safehouses/stashes
  • Give us a detailed account of what your former guild was involved in here in this canton.  We have your ledgers so it is no use lying to me.
  • What other guilds do you have agreements with, if any.
  • What city officials/guards/constables do you have on your payroll.

He does not respond to your question, keeping silent.

Traguna has his brother use his Disable and Demoralize powers on Rik (from out of his field of vision) and continue to question.  They will continue to question him until the others have finished searching the house.  If Rik hasn't answered by then, they will use the Silence sponge to make sure the neighbors can't hear the screams, and cut off the index finger on both of Riks hands and cauterize the wounds with some of Gansuks acid.

After being Demoralized, he mumbles some answers.

Where are the rest of your group?  There aren't any left, since I assume Remy told you.

Where are all of your safehouses/stashes? This is it.

Give us a detailed account of what your former guild was involved in here in this canton.  We have your ledgers so it is no use lying to me.  Look for yourself.

What other guilds do you have agreements with, if any.  None

What city officials/guards/constables do you have on your payroll.  Your mother

Max continues watching the street and adjoining houses. Before going back up to his perch he checks on the buildings/homes facing Rik's safe house.

What city officials/guards/constables do you have on your payroll.  Your mother

This earns him a punch in the solar plexus

"That was unkind.  My mother is a fine woman.  The only reason you still draw breath is the fact that we are expanding our influence and you may still yield some valuable information.  If you do not have any other information of value, i see no reason not to dispose of you, a piece at a time, down that sewer drain.  However, should you chose to cooperate, you may yet live."

No one appears to be doing anything unusual at the buildings.  Some people walk down the street, but they don't appear out of the ordinary.

Gansuhk says.. " should I clean him, make him disappear? "

Istvan says .. " I think we need to visit Remy again, he was told not to warn Ric.  And we let him keep his stuff"
~ pulls out a small notebook, and writes something.

Would you like me to ask him the question?

Remy hears, through the Communication link, "Just go with this"

To Rik: "The Drow guild are a nasty bunch.  Normally I would not associate with them.  They leave us alone, we leave them alone, everybody's happy.  But, they do have certain skills that they excel in.  It will soon be your misfortune to find out exactly what they are." (To Remy) "Do with him as you will, but I want him to still be able to speak.  And, move him closer to the sewer opening over there, it will make cleanup easier."

Looks like he was already demoralized.  He probably thinks we will just dispose of him when he tells us what we want to know.  That gives him a reason to hold information.

Rik responds after the chatter and punches, "Okay, okay, I'm not the one you're looking for.  We've been paid to be a small group, masking the actions of one of the city's real power gangs.  Let me go and I'll help you get some from them."

Istvan says only to the group...
"We can play this 2 ways... we can make the area a lot more dangerous, I believe a disguised assaulting of a constable or guard, daylight robberies, etc.  Then we can goto these people and ask for money, or we'll stop.  Or.. we can do the opposite.  Police the area, then attempt to take down the Security Company, or force money from them"

So many possibilities.

It depends on what the ledgers say.  If Rik here was kind enough to note the payoffs, we can use that info to go to Kormiere Security and take over the operations in this Canton.  For a substantial increase of course.

Maybe Kormiere should be next on the list.  I'd be up for a little more of a stand up fight against security goons.

You spend ten minutes as they discuss in the basement and question and you make note of 23 traps.
