Dylan says - well, they let the kids and women go. That is quiet racist actually, since in my native culture, the women would never leave because they are seemingly weak. I'm not even sure drow kids would leave. I'm not sure this is a great outcome, since we are still trapped. We still have 1000's of lives here. I guess we did buy more time, but we know we are being watches, and probably using divination to check up on us.

We had the Clerics of the village create water for as many people as possible before sending them off on ships, then Ruby started using her abilities to planeshift willing volunteers. She got through about 80-100 people before that woman appeared who met us once we first arrived here on Dakkon (can't remember her name). She was displeased with our shenanigans and planeshifting and banished us to another island somewhere on the planet. Not sure if all the women and children got off the island before the attack, nor do we know how much time has passed since we were teleported. We imagine it was instantaneous, but we really don't know. That's where we left off.

Deirdre showed up pretty angitated after the tenth use of Ruby’s planeshift. I believe the dialogue with her started off with Deirdre reprimanding us for causing chaos in the multiverse by planeshifting 100 people to random planes. Followed by us explaining our plight and asking her if she could help these people under siege, to which she replied “yes†and then immediately teleported us away to some unknown location on a beach.
So we have no idea where we are, no idea of the fate of those 20,000 people, and no idea if planeshift will work for us ever again.

I think he was being culturally sensitive and if it were a city where females fought and ruled as a standard of society, he would not have made that part of the offer.

And he called US the backwater. We have progressed to the point where deities don't have to babysit the peoples of the world and act like hummingbird parents constantly offering carrot cakes and switches for good and bad behavior..

It’s at least 10 degrees cooler where you are and while you are near the shore there is no indication you are on an island. The land stretches to the limits of your vision in all directions except out to sea (south you think). It is lush, green, temperate hills and cliffs. There is a low mist above you.

Does make a Knowledge Geography check to see if I can pick up ideas from the angle of the sun, etc.

I believe she showed up the next morning when we tried to planeshift the first group of that day (which would have been #11 overall).

I can alter into a Raker, but that might attract attention. We don't know what is around here.

Can we see any structures or dwellings on the landscape, or is it just open land along the hills and cliffs? I realize there's a low hanging mist, but I'm hoping the visibility isn't too bad.
I, too, can fly up and scout if need be, but would prefer not to alert anyone to our presence just yet.

Uther reaches into an inside chest pocket of his surcoat and pulls out the sleeping bat, who wakes squinting hard against the daylight and squeaking in protest. Uther addresses Ember:
“You can go back to sleep shortly. Right now we need your help to figure out where we are. Fly up and take a scan of the area around us. Stay within range of our link (1 mile). Note any signs of life, towns, buildings, or changes in the landscape. Return here when complete or if you run in to trouble. Don’t get too close to anything. Stay high above the trees.â€

Ember makes several wide circles of the area. Less than a mile inland there is a crumbling farming village. There are no other signs of life. The fog limits visibility to less than a mile. He finds no signs of recent activity.
